The Silver Gravity Story Excellence Awards celebrate stories that mirror humanity in all its colours, cultures, and complexities - creating a world where every voice echoes, every experience matters, and every story has the power to transform lives.
Stories have the power to change perspectives, challenge norms, and transform lives. We celebrate the voices that dare to tell these stories, regardless of format or platform.
Born from two decades of industry expertise, these awards represent our commitment to recognising excellence in storytelling that reflects our diverse global society. The awards are open to all story creators who fit the categories below. Not all categories will be awarded in 2025, and the final list will be announced in January 2025.
The inaugural Awards Ceremony will take place in October 2025 at a live venue in London, UK.
A press release and key announcement of judges, full list of sponsors, submission guidelines and full details will be announced in January and at London Book Fair 2025.

- Founder of the HarperCollins Author and Design Academy trains writers from underrepresented backgrounds

- Doubled the business of HarperCollins 360 book distribution business
- Pioneered the Harper Inspire publishing imprint
